June 27, 2023 by Editorial Staff

Today, Airbiquity, the connected vehicle services provider, announced it has joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) to make Airbiquity’s OTAmatic® software available to AWS customers. The initiative expands the availability of Airbiquity’s Over-the-Air (OTA) software to additional connected device segments such as 2-wheeler motorcycles and scooters, industrial robots, medical equipment, and other high-value products. As an APN member, Airbiquity joins a global community of AWS Partners.

Airbiquity OTAmatic leverages the power of AWS to deliver globally secure OTA software updates with enhanced service availability and scalability. Airbiquity uses a multi-tenant cloud operating model to scale service delivery to millions of devices globally while managing the complexity of single and multi-target software updates. Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide can benefit from this approach by mitigating recall expense, increasing cybersecurity response, and delivering post-sale product performance and feature enhancements. With over 25 years of innovating, integrating, deploying, and globally operating distributed product frameworks, this initiative creates an attractive opportunity for the growing and evolving mobility industry.

“Airbiquity knows how to develop and deploy OTAmatic on AWS having done so for ourselves and our customers,” said David Jumpa, Airbiquity’s Chief Revenue Officer. “We look forward to working with AWS to reach an even broader set of OEM customers who want to implement an efficient, reliable, and secure solution for keeping their products current with the latest software versions.”

OTAmatic specifically leverages Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK), Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS), and Amazon CloudFront.

March 3, 2020 by Editorial Staff

At RSA, the global security company that uses AI for IVR Authentication and Anti-Fraud Solutions, announced the launch of Deep Voice 3, the new version of its market-leading voice recognition technology.

The biometric industry has been quick to develop improvements in voice-based speech recognition solutions given the rapid developments in deepfakes. Not only are video deepfakes a concerns, but there’s also been an alarming increase in voice deepfakes.

Pindrop aims to combat these attacks with Deep Voice 3, which is built on advanced machine learning and deep neural networks. The solution is designed to accurately recognize the voice of callers at a contact center with less speech, resulting in faster authentication, a smoother customer experience with higher enrollment, and a contact center that is both more efficient and secure.

Databook Lands $5M in Seed Funding

February 13, 2020 by Editorial Staff

Funding VC CXO Spectrum

Databook, which offers an enterprise customer intelligence platform, announced it has landed $5M in seed funding, led by Threshold Ventures. The company has a goal of changing the enterprise selling game by making every rep as good as the best rep through its AI-powered platform. Once deployed, the platform combines predictive intent data, real-time insights, and time-saving productivity tools to improve selling performance across the enterprise – with a goal of enabling every sales rep to deliver the right pitch for the right audience at the right time.

The company, backed by some powerful investors and advisors, claims its platform can:

  • Increases sales productivity at scale. Better yield per rep means higher conversions; more reps hit their quota every quarter, which exponentially increases revenue.
  • Improves organizational velocity at scale. More productive reps mean better customer engagement, which typically results in more pipeline and wins per quarter; all of this equals better performance at lower cost across the organization.
  • More efficient growth at scale. Better productivity means top-line and bottom-line growth.
